APRIL

Simon helps clean the red lyrium out of the Gallows as part of the advance crew. (L)
-- Wren and Simon debate what should be done with the statues.
-- Margaux and Simon discuss Marcher cuisine and the Kirkwall natives' opinion of the Inquisition.
-- Simon pets a poodle and can't believe Malcolm doesn't believe in ghosts.

MAY

Simon suggests the possibility of reviving Skyhold's Inquisition glee club. (C)
-- He is delighted to find another singing Starkhavener in Saoirse.
-- Simon is slightly less than PC with Malcolm.
-- Simon gets trolled by Freddie, eventually catches on.

Simon and Wren talk about the merits (or lack thereof) of celibacy vows and religious fasting. (C)

A Fool's Errand (Player Plot) (L)
-- Simon and Cade are dispatched to sweet-talk information out of a barkeep in Hicksville. They do not get along well on the way.
-- Simon expresses his misgivings about Anders to Wren, and lets himself be slightly reassured.
-- Simon helps uncover a family's basement of horrors.
-- Simon begins to question a red templar he once knew.

JUNE

Simon gets reacquainted with Kirkwall. (L)
-- Kattrin tends to his injuries from the mission, and they bond over discussion of their respective faiths.
-- Simon moves his stuff into Cade's quarters. HI, ROOMIE.
-- The Medicine Seller sees through Simon's excuses.
-- Simon and Saoirse remember that they knew each other years ago.
-- Margaux interrupts Simon's armor-polishing with probing questions and existential despair (but also hugging so it's fine.)

Put Back Your Dead (War Table) (L)
-- Simon, Kain, Saoirse and Malcolm discuss the combat potential of undead bears.
-- After group debate about fighting through vs sneaking around, Simon and Kain do what they do best and barrel their way through a field of zombies.

JULY

Cade tells Simon he's done something terrible, and is liable to be executed for it. Simon offers what comfort he can. (I)

Wren fills Simon in on the details of the situation. Simon is furious on Cade's behalf. (I)

Simon discovers what that whip under Cade's bed is for. He does not feel that he signed up for this. (L)

Cade tells Simon he's been stripped of his knighthood. Simon initially thinks he means he's about to be hanged. The miscommunication is not the funny kind. (I)

The Campus Crusaders for Andraste Chantry Relations team discuss the Sudden Forest and the pool of blood Kaisa found there. Simon is dismayed by the destruction of evidence. (C)

Simon accosts a blind mage in the forest, but is sufficiently impressed by his mastery of oil-conjuring to let him go and talk magic with him instead. (TDM)

AUGUST

Simon accompanies Cade and his brother Callum on a night of drunken debauchery. It ends in puke. (L)

Simon catches his blind mage buddy practicing some sweet knight-enchanter moves. They spar. Myr totally wins. (L)

Myr crystal-calls Simon for a few answers about Inquisition business. It turns into an hours-long, pajama-clad discussion of all things Andrastian and somehow ends up as a plan to cheat the Kirkwall police force at cards. (I)

A routine prisoner transfer turns into an entropic nightmare when Benedict's Horror spell goes awry and hits Wren. Simon has to evade her mad knife skills until the effects wear off, while simultaneously trying to prevent the prisoners from killing each other. (L)

Simon and Wren discuss the incident in her office. (I)

Benedict roundly rejects Simon's offer of conversation in solitary. (L)

Simon's newly-reinforced disdain for Seekerkind leads to an argument with Malcolm. (L)

Melys starts an Inquisition-wide game of Would You Rather. (C)
-- With Melys: "would you rather know when you're going to die, or how?"
-- With Myr: "would you rather bathe in a tub of spiders, or wear a swarm of bees for a week?"

Norrington solicits an opinion from Simon about Benedict's character. It is not favorable. (I)

Simon suggests that perhaps teaching Benedict how to be a good person is not an ideal usage of the Inquisition's time or resources. (C)

SEPTEMBER

Simon unintentionally terrifies Fern out in the countryside. (TDM, started in August)

Simon makes some visits and bums around the city. (L)
-- Kattrin shares more details about Avvar culture, while doing laundry.
-- Atticus catches Simon slacking off on guard duty.
-- So does Norrington.
-- Simon finds the baths occupied by Ellana.
-- Simon encounters a bruised Saoirse outside the forest.
-- Beleth drops by to introduce herself and give a Cade Update.
-- Simon compliments Sina on the forest.
-- Cade is not doing so great.
-- Simon and Myr begin their devious card-counting plan.
-- Fern is rejected by the preps, J.V. jocks, Asian nerds, cool Asians, varsity jocks, unfriendly black hotties Circle mages and eats with Simon instead.

Simon meets Kit in the flesh. It rapidly goes downhill. (L)

The Seas Shall Rise and Devour, Part 1 (Mod Plot) (L)
-- Cade tries to stop Simon from putting himself in danger.
-- Araceli and Simon both appreciate the sea.
-- Iskandar holds stuff while Simon fixes it.
-- Simon and Fern marvel at the giant Tolkien elves.

Simon crystal-calls Myr from Rivain, and promises to bring him a coconut. (I)

OCTOBER

Melys judges Simon's face, and then just starts judging other things about him while she's at it. (I)

Wren confronts Simon about withholding information from her. He happens to be naked for the duration. (L)

Simon immediately storms over to Myr's room to pour out his woes about this. (I)

Simon gets into an unhelpful argument with a Kirkwall templar while accompanying Cade in the lyrium line. (L)

NOVEMBER

Simon helps explain the forest's origin to Nell. (C)

Simon is entertained by Melys' message board quiz. (C)

Simon tries to reassure Fern that school won't suck forever. (L)

Simon and Myr apprehend the infiltrator trying to abduct Benedict, though not without injury to Bene. (L)

Simon accompanies Myr and Bene to the infirmary. (L)

Simon helps Saoirse and crew move a family into the Starkhaven alienage, partly as an excuse for a trip home. (L)

Wren and Simon reconcile, and she has a proposition for him. (I)

A room shared by five attractive people has never been so unsexy before. (L)

Simon discovers that he might have been better off staying in his own room, where Wren was not being inebriated at him. (L)

Looting the Circle (Mini Plot) (L)
--Simon joins a team looting the remains of the Nevarra City Circle on behalf of the Inquisition.
--Nell and Kostos go back inside, for shady reasons.

DECEMBER

Myr turns up at Simon's door seeking comfort after the necropolis ordeal. Simon gives it as best he can, and neither of them knows quite where to stop. (I)

Simon congratulates Wren on her appointment as head of Forces. (C)

Simon and a drunk Gwen exchange conflicting opinions of Wren. (C)
